2024-2025 Audition Requirements

Who should audition

CYSO welcomes new members by audition throughout the season.

Here is what you need to do:

Fill out the audition application form
Pay the $45 audition fee (upon acceptance, this fee covers your registration).
If you wish to audition in person, auditions will be scheduled on an individual basis. Once your application form has been received you will be notified of possible audition times. Live auditions will be held during the evenings from Monday, May 20th to Thursday, June 6th, 2024 at St. Anne’s Parish House.
If auditioning virtually, auditions should be submitted by an UNLISTED YouTube Link and are due by June 6th to the CYSO Executive Director.
Prospective students age 8 to 21 who meet our audition requirements may receive a one year membership when there is a vacancy in an ensemble.
Prospective student videos will be sent to the Music Director and Judges for review and placement by the Executive Director when the application is complete and the fee is paid.
Placement will be announced by email in late July for May-June auditions.
Accepted applicants can hold their spots with a $100 non-refundable deposit, due by August 15th.

All current CYSO students wishing to return for the upcoming season will need to audition for placement.
